YOUNG ARTIST AT THE WIENER STAATSOPER 2026-2028
RECIPIENT OF THE THIERRY MERMOD PRIZE AT THE VERBIER FESTIVAL
Member of the Opernstudio at the Wiener Staatsoper for the 2026-2028 seasons and recipient of the Thierry Mermod Prize at the Verbier Festival, English Baritone Redmond Sanders is a 2026 Opera Europa Eva Kleinitz Scholar, an alumnus of the Georg Solti Academy 2026, and a Drake Calleja Scholar. He is proud to be a 2023 Samling Artist.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
Redmond sings the role of Baron Douphol in Verdi’s La Traviata at the Verbier Festival under the baton of James Gaffigan.
Redmond performs in the arias and Tosti concert with the Atelier Lyrique accompanied by Caroline Dowdle.
